Overview

Come work with a Level 2 trauma center in the region that has its own childrens hospital. Our staff and providers develop great working relationships creating a culture that works hard to provide exceptional patient care.
Up to $5000.00 relocation bonus (with two-year commitment)
- Schedule
- o 8 to 5 Monday through Friday
- o with night and weekend call every 3rd or 4th week

- Duties and Requirements
-
- o Performs both standard and specialty electro neurodiagnostic tests independently, as requested by a physician, to report the findings to the physician, allowing them to diagnose and determine treatment options for our patients.
- o Monitors the patients status during the diagnostic testing to ensure the patients safety during the procedure and note any abnormalities for the physicians review.
- o Provides education to patients and their family or guardians to ensure the patient understands the prepping activities necessary prior to the study.
- o Completes set up of various diagnostic testing procedures to ensure the equipment and supplies are available for accurate completion of diagnostic testing procedures.
- o Completes calibration of equipment and resolves variances in equipment to ensure the equipment is working properly and the results are accurate.
- o Gathers the patients medical history to ensure the accuracy of the medical record.
- o Explains testing procedures and prepares the patient for diagnostic testing to ensure the patient knows what to expect and adequately prepare for the tests to be completed.
- o Prepares data and patient information to allow for timely and accurate billing procedures.
- o Completes patient care activities to provide an excellent patient care experience.
- o Complies with patient safety standards for each patients mental and physical well-being while preforming the study to ensure patient safety.
- o Reports critical test impressions and/or event occurrences to the physician and documents the communication in accordance with organizational or departmental policies and procedures to ensure proper patient safety and documentation.
- o Mentors and trains associate electro neurodiagnostic technologists and trainees to expand their skills and attain independence in completing electro neurodiagnostic tests.
