  • Reviews existing clinical data, collects additional data and recommends obtaining additional pertinent data.
  • Evaluates all data to determine the appropriateness and medical necessity of the test ordered.
  • Selects, assembles and checks the equipment necessary to perform the diagnostic test
  • Initiates, conducts and modifies the prescribed diagnostic procedure
  • Maintains patient records and communicates relevant information to members of the health care team
  • Continue with self-development and assist the Director with orientation and continuing education of trainees, medical staff, and other hospital employees.
  • Promotes age-appropriate care to all patients
