An EEG (electroencephalogram) technician is a healthcare professional who records and monitors electrical activity in the brain to help diagnose neurological conditions such as epilepsy, sleep disorders, and brain injuries. They prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, applying electrodes to the scalp, and ensuring proper equipment setup.
