ABOUT THE ROLE

The Multimedia & Creative Specialist will develop and implement company-wide marketing and communication strategies through compelling visual storytelling and creative solutions. The Specialist plays a key role in strengthening the company's brand by creating high-quality multimedia and graphic design assets across print and digital platforms. This position is responsible for leading the development of graphics, page layout and design, video production, photography, motion graphics, and other creative media while ensuring brand consistency and visual excellence. The Specialist collaborates with internal stakeholders to translate business objectives into engaging, effective creative deliverables and serves as a subject matter expert on multimedia best practices, emerging design trends, and creative technologies.

Essential Functions
  • Develop, design, and produce compelling visual, written, animated, and interactive content that supports customer engagement, business development, recruitment, training, internal communications, and digital marketing initiatives
  • Partner with internal teams to identify creative opportunities, develop strategic visual concepts, and deliver multimedia solutions that support business objectives and enhance brand awareness
  • Lead the graphic design and page layout for a variety of mediums including reports, print collateral, presentations, digital platforms, ads, booth displays, banners, communications
  • Design custom graphics, logos, icons, illustrations, infographics, and other branded visual assets that communicate complex information clearly and effectively
  • Plan, capture, edit, and produce high-quality multimedia content, including photography, videography, motion graphics, animation, drone footage, testimonials, and promotional videos for multiple platforms and audiences
  • Research, evaluate, and source music, stock photography, video footage, graphics, and other creative assets while ensuring proper licensing and copyright compliance
  • Manage, organize, and maintain digital creative assets within designated platforms (e.g., Digital Asset Management (DAM), SharePoint, and other repositories) to ensure accessibility, consistency, and governance
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on company brand standards, ensuring all creative deliverables maintain visual consistency, quality, and alignment with established brand guidelines
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, creative tools, and multimedia best practices, recommending innovative approaches to improve creative processes and deliverables
  • Review creative work for quality, accuracy, and adherence to project objectives, providing recommendations that enhance the effectiveness of marketing communications
  • Support multiple concurrent projects while effectively managing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder expectations to meet business deadlines
  • Ability to travel for work

ABOUT YOUQualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in graphic design, multimedia production, videography, photography, video editing, and digital content creation
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing high-quality creative assets across multiple media platforms, including print, digital, video, and motion graphics
  • Must provide a portfolio of published or professional work that demonstrates creative excellence, technical proficiency, and experience producing a diverse range of multimedia and graphic design projects
  • Construction (A/E/C) industry experience - strongly preferred
Preferred Education
  • Bachelor's degree preferably in graphic design, media, or related field; combination of relevant education and experience considered in lieu of degree
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Advanced ability to translate business objectives, insights, and complex concepts into compelling visual and multimedia solutions
  • Expert proficiency with Adobe Creative Cloud applications, including Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and related multimedia, animation, and digital asset management platforms
  • Excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality, brand-consistent deliverables
  • Demonstrated creativity, strong design acumen, and a refined eye for composition, typography, color, motion, and visual storytelling
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize competing deadlines, and deliver high-quality work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively, influence creative decisions, and build productive relationships with stakeholders at all organizational levels
  • Advanced technical knowledge of multimedia production equipment, including professional cameras, lenses, lighting, audio equipment, drones, stabilization systems, and video production hardware with familiarity with AI tools that support video editing, graphic design, and content creation
  • Proficiency with video editing, motion graphics, animation, photography, audio production, and emerging creative technologies
  • Ability to evaluate creative approaches, recommend innovative solutions, and continuously improve multimedia processes, workflows, and deliverables
  • Working knowledge of copyright, licensing, accessibility, and digital media best practices
  • FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot Certificate (Drone Pilot License) preferred
  • Ability to travel up to 40%

    • Commensurate with experience, paid weekly. Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. MYR Group reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
