This job oversees the implementation and optimization of content marketing initiatives. Drives online content strategy; drafts, builds and edits web content; manages online reputation management, business listings and provider profile presence; tracks analytics and user behavior; supports system brand and online marketing initiatives; collaborates with the creative media services and digital marketing teams on creative ideas, design options, functionality, implementation and content; participates in the strategic planning process for clients; and assists or oversees special projects and initiatives.

Education

Required - Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, advertising, writing, digital media or related field.

Work Experience

Required - 5 years of experience in web management and content creation.

Preferred - 5 years of experience in content creation for web, content management systems (CMS), social media and Google Analytics.

Knowledge Skills and Abilities (KSAs)

  • Strong writing and editing skills and knowledge of Associated Press (AP) style.

  • Effective verbal and written communication skills and ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals throughout health system.

  • High proficiency with personal computers and corresponding software programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Suite, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier, Adobe Illustrator), content management systems, social media channels, video editing and Google Analytics.

  • Knowledge of programming language, markup language, and digital visual effects including HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Adobe After Effects.

  • Knowledge of major social channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, YouTube and their analytics capabilities.

  • Advanced project management and organizational skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and ability to use logic to formulate solutions to problems.

  • Knowledge of user experience (UX)/user interface (UI) design and search engine optimization to produce accurate, high quality work.

Job Duties

  • Drives online content strategy in areas of focus to increase digital engagement and online performance across multiple channels and provide measurable marketing return on investment.

  • Drafts, edits and proofreads online marketing material, including copy, video and creative assets for website, social media, online advertising and blog while maintaining consistency with brand or sub-branding guidelines.

  • Manages online reputation management, business listings and provider profile presence in given areas of focus by region or service line.

  • Collaborates with brand, design and creative media teams and/or manages external vendor partners on creative ideas and design options, functionality, implementation and content within brand guidelines.

  • Analyzes data and user behavior and tracks outcomes to determine marketing impact and improve online user experience to deliver return on investment (ROI) and report out insights to leadership and internal stakeholders.

  • Participates in the strategic planning process for clients and assists or oversees projects, web builds, video editing, social media campaigns, email marketing and advertising tracking.

  • Manages marketing calendar, crafting and scheduling social and email content tailored to target donor audiences
  • Manages special web projects and initiatives to improve user experience, speed and technology of web platforms.

  • Experience with fundraising campaigns or fund development preferred
  • Experience with Emerging Networks and/or Blackbaud's Raiser's Edge preferred
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Normal routine involves no exposure to blood, body fluid or tissue and as part of their employment, incumbents are not called upon to perform or assist in emergency care or first aid.

The incumbent has no occupational risk for exposure to communicable diseases.

Because the incumbent works within a healthcare setting, there may be occupational risk for exposure to hazardous medications or hazardous waste within the environment through receipt, transport, storage, preparation, dispensing, administration, cleaning and/or disposal of contaminated waste.
