Now Hiring for the 26/27 School Year!

Make a lasting impact in the lives of K-12 students as an Education Specialist! Cross Country Education is hiring Education Specialists to support schools across Los Angeles. Enjoy autonomy in your role, while being part of a collaborative special education team. To accommodate retirement hour limits, we'll match assignments to your availability. Enjoy a school year schedule with summers and school breaks off.
What You'll Do:

  • Coordinate and manage IEPs for students
  • Provide instructional support in small group or 1:1 settings
  • Adapt general education curriculum to meet student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers and school teams
  • Travel to one or a few assigned school sites - we aim to minimize travel when possible by assigning nearby locations

What We're Looking For:

  • CA Education Specialist Credential (Mild/Mod - R3MM, R3MN, R3BM, R3BE or Mod/Severe - R3MS)
  • Autism Authorization (AAAS or R3MS)
  • EL Authorization
  • 1 year of experience teaching students with special needs both in and outside of the general education setting
  • 1 year of experience coordinating and writing IEPs
