  • Salary Range - 60,000 to 65,000
  • Clearance - A successful candidate must have an active "Secret" clearance to be considered.
  • Location - Sierra Vista AZ

Summary:

The contractor shall perform a variety of actions and activities in support of the USAICOE Training Enabler Division's Writing Program. This task requires occasional flexible hours based on student availability. Generally is Mon - Fri 0700 - 1600 however hours can vary between 0500 and 2000 daily and on weekends, not to exceed 80- hour bi- weekly. The contractor shall use the USAICoE Writing Handbook and supporting materials to support the USAICoE Writing Program with tutoring and developing writing topic-based workshops.

The contractor shall provide the following support:

  • Conduct one-on-one student tutoring on the USAICoE Writing Standard to
    include scheduling/managing appointments, follow up with students
    accessing the program and reporting metrics to the writing program
    coordinator (tutoring metrics report).
  • Conduct group, MOS specific or skill specific tutoring sessions. Manage
    calendar, prepare and receive approval from program coordinator for
    training materials.
  • Assist in the development of briefs, written products and other communication
    materials about the USAICoE Writing Program specific to the tutoring
    program.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelors Degree in English, English Composition or similar is required (substantial job performance in a writing profession may be substituted).
  • 3 years in an educational/writing environment
  • An active Secret Clearance or higher
  • Military/government experience is preferred but not required
