Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a passionate and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our Special Education Program's Mental Health Team. As a remote position based in Atlanta, Georgia, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across various disciplines. Although the role supports online work with a flexible schedule, you will maintain a strong connection to our local outpatient office, engaging with a dynamic mental health team. Your work will generally unfold within a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts, weekend rotations, and on-call duties expected during crises or emergencies.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the needs of students with a spectrum of special needs.
• Develop, implement, and continuously monitor individualized treatment plans that target specific mental health concerns, emotional development, and educational integration.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques through individual and group therapy focusing on strategies appropriate for ASD, learning disabilities, ADHD, and trauma.
• Facilitate therapy sessions designed to promote emotional self-regulation, coping mechanisms, and personal growth.
• Team up with teachers, therapists, and other specialists to devise integrated care strategies that guarantee comprehensive support for every student.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, ensuring the safety and well-being of students.
• Educate students and their families about mental health topics, the importance of seeking help, and available resources.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of treatment plans and progress in line with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in team meetings and continuous professional development to stay current with industry trends and regulations.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse group of students diagnosed with various mental health disorders. You will be instrumental in providing support for those with autism spectrum disorder, learning disabilities, behavioral issues, and those who have experienced trauma. Through your compassionate care, you will strive to meet each student's unique needs, fostering personal and academic growth in a supportive education-focused environment.

• Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Current and valid LCSW licensure in the state of Georgia.
• A strong foundation in mental health disorders and trauma-informed care with an understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Solid skills in conducting mental health evaluations and developing comprehensive treatment strategies.
• Demonstrated experience in facilitating individual and group therapy sessions utilizing diverse therapeutic approaches.
• Exceptional crisis management skills and the ability to maintain composure in stressful situations.
• Excellent communication abilities and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfortable in a technology-driven work environment.

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in clinical mental health settings.
• Experience specifically working within an educational or special education environment preferred.
• Hands-on engagement with students dealing with a variety of mental health challenges.
