Job description

This Highway position runs 5 days out at a time and averages 2300 miles per week.

  • Arrive at customer location Sunday by 1900 to ensure smooth loading and timely departure
  • Depart customer at 2030 to Calgary for a live unload at 0030
  • Drop the empty trailer and pick up a loaded trailer in Calgary, depart for Saskatoon with a stop on route to reset.
  • Switch trailers in Saskatoon and return to Edmonton arriving before noon on Tuesday
  • Arrive at customer location Tuesday by 2130 to ensure smooth loading and timely departure
  • Depart customer at 2030 to Calgary for a live unload at 0030
  • Drop the empty trailer and pick up a loaded trailer in Calgary, depart for Saskatoon with a stop on route to reset.
  • Switch trailers in Saskatoon and return to Edmonton arriving before noon on Thursday
  • Arrive at customer location Thursday by 2130 to ensure smooth loading and timely departure
  • Depart customer at 2030 to Calgary for a live unload at 0030
  • Drop the empty trailer and pick up a loaded trailer in Calgary, and return to Edmonton
  • Additional work might be available upon request, regional work is required
  • Assigned non-smoking unit, Prairie Regional pay-package applies

Candidate Profile:

  • Company Driver with tractor trailer experience
  • Must have a valid Class 1/AZ License
  • Reefer experience is an asset
  • Must be able to haul all commodities including meat and alcohol
  • Must be able to lift 50 lb. or more
  • CP Rail experience is an asset
  • Must be able to lift 50 lb. or more
