Health Care Aide (HCA)

Senior Helpers West Edmonton is hiring Health Care Aides to provide in-home care to seniors in the Edmonton area. If you are committed to providing respectful, reliable, and high-quality care, we encourage you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Provide personal care while supporting clients' dignity and independence
  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
  • Provide companionship and social support
  • Assist with medication reminders and management, as directed
  • Communicate with clients, families, and the care team
  • Observe and report changes in clients' condition
  • Complete required documentation accurately and on time
Qualifications
  • Completion of a recognized Health Care Aide (HCA) program within the last five years, or current enrollment in a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) program
  • Active Alberta Health Care Aide (HCA) Registration
  • Current Vulnerable Sector Check
  • Valid driver's licence preferred
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members
  • Reliable, organized, and able to work independently
