3rd Shift - 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM (Monday-Friday

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced EDM Operator to support precision machining operations within the aerospace industry. This role involves setting up and operating CNC EDM machines while maintaining strict quality, safety, and production standards.
Key Responsibilities
  • Set up and operate CNC EDM machines, including laser CNC and EDM machining centers.
  • Perform machining operations according to engineering specifications and work instructions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve minor setup and machine operation issues.
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards.
  • Comply with TPM (Total Preventive Maintenance) and CTQ (Critical to Quality) programs.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment as required.
  • Support R&D activities related to new programming and process improvements.
  • Perform manual machining operations when needed.
  • Maintain production efficiency, quality, and safety standards.
  • Follow daily housekeeping and safety procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO-9000 and internal quality programs.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Support other facility tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of experience in machining, CNC EDM setup, and program editing.
  • Strong understanding of CNC EDM machining processes and measuring equipment.
  • Ability to interpret operation sheets and in-process work documents.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Basic math and computer skills.
  • Ability to read and use precision measurement tools.

Language & Communication Skills
  • Ability to read and understand safety rules, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions.
  • Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively in English with supervisors, engineers, and coworkers.

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
