Job Summary
Under the direction of an assigned administrator, organize and implement services for pupils with severe vision impairments including assessment of pupils' functional vision; evaluate and recommend appropriate assistive technology and modified reading materials for pupil's use; instruct pupils in skills necessary to utilize recommended assistive technology and skills unique to impaired vision; collaborate with teachers, parents, other support personnel and administrators to facilitate inclusion of pupils in the least restrictive learning environment.
