Job Summary:
Databricks is a data and AI company on a mission to help data teams solve tough problems. They are seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the Databricks Free Edition, collaborating with a cross-functional team to create engaging and impactful learning experiences in data and AI.
Responsibilities:
โ€ข Help shape and advance the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Databricks Free Edition, contributing to experiences that make learning data and AI engaging and accessible.
โ€ข Collaborate with design, engineering, and education teams to deliver intuitive, hands-on learning journeys within Databricks.
โ€ข Work with academic and learning program partners to support data and AI education through Databricks.
โ€ข Coordinate with other product teams to ensure new features are thoughtfully introduced into Free Edition with the right user experience and guardrails.
โ€ข Engage directly with learners and users to understand their goals, identify friction points, and translate insights into impactful product improvements.
โ€ข Define and track success metrics that measure learning engagement and user outcomes.
Qualifications:
Required:
โ€ข 5+ years of product management experience, preferably in data, AI, or developer-focused platforms.
โ€ข Strong customer empathy and passion for creating learning and onboarding experiences that empower users.
โ€ข Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, design, and go-to-market teams.
โ€ข Excellent communication and storytelling skills, able to articulate vision, motivate teams, and simplify complex concepts.
โ€ข Technical proficiency to collaborate effectively with engineering on data and platform capabilities.
