Familiarity with editing tools like Microsoft Word, Google Docs, and track changes features is typically required. What are Editing Interns?

Editing Interns are entry-level team members who assist editors in reviewing, revising, and preparing written content for publication. They often work for publishing houses, magazines, media companies, or online platforms, gaining practical experience in editing, proofreading, and content management. Editing Interns may also help with fact-checking, formatting, and learning editorial standards. As an Editing Intern, you can expect to work on a variety of projects such as proofreading articles, assisting with content revisions, and fact-checking drafts before publication. Interns are encouraged to communicate openly about workload and deadlines, and you may have the chance to pitch ideas or take ownership of smaller projects as you gain experience. This hands-on exposure helps you develop both technical editing skills and an understanding of editorial workflows.
