They are responsible for identifying, collecting, preserving, reviewing, and producing electronically stored information (ESI) such as emails, documents, databases, and other digital records that may be relevant to a legal case. Their expertise ensures compliance with legal requirements and court rules regarding the handling of digital evidence, and they often work closely with IT experts, clients, and other legal teams to efficiently manage large volumes of data. eDiscovery attorneys play a crucial role in minimizing risks and costs associated with electronic evidence.
