When consumed, edibles are metabolized by the digestive system, resulting in a delayed onset of effects—often taking 30 minutes to 2 hours to feel. The effects of edibles can be stronger and longer-lasting compared to smoking or vaping cannabis. It is important to start with a low dose and wait to feel the effects before consuming more. Edibles come in various forms, including baked goods, candies, beverages, and more.
