Edible information

What are edibles in the context of cannabis and how do they work?

Edibles are food products infused with cannabis extracts, such as THC or CBD. When consumed, edibles are metabolized by the digestive system, resulting in a delayed onset of effects—often taking 30 minutes to 2 hours to feel. The effects of edibles can be stronger and longer-lasting compared to smoking or vaping cannabis. It is important to start with a low dose and wait to feel the effects before consuming more. Edibles come in various forms, including baked goods, candies, beverages, and more.
