The software developer will develop, analyze, and create reports for System Transactions, IoT devices, Biometric, healthcare data information regarding demographics, Observations, Insurance, Payments in various formats like HL7, ICD-9, X12, XML, JSON, Binary. They will will be responsible for coding and building requirements using custom applications for Health Care Institutions and Electronic Health Record Vendors. Additionally, they will participate in the analysis of existing business processes and systems to recommend processes, applications, and system enhancements to improve business performance and maximize the effectiveness of available technology.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
  • Develop, Test andDebug programs, web applications and system interfaces in accordance withclient specifications.
  • Assist in systemdesign, assigning tasks, monitoring progress, reviewing development efforts,and delivering the solution to the end-user.
  • Analyzing and Buildingreports and requirements to review and validate biometric, IoT, Healthcaredata as it is collected.
  • Overseedeployment of data on to reporting application and databases.
  • Perform dataprofiling to identify and understand anomalies in developed applicationand fix issues.
  • Developspecifications, diagrams, and flowcharts for reports.
  • Address issuesand questions related to intended functionality of the system, as well assupport the business in implementing the required changes to makeeffective use of the new system.
  • Assist inimplementation, coordinating tests and observing initiation of the systemto validate performance and ensure all business requirements and theirintegrity are maintained.
  • Develop customreports to analyze operating, functional and billing processes.
  • Communicate withstakeholders to document business rules and data definitions.
  • Determinedetailed requirements for large and small data integration projects andproducts.
  • Translate functionalrequirements into technical specifications (source to target mappings).
  • Perform datavalidation by developing and executing test plans and supporting useracceptance testing.
  • Be a self-starter who can grasp difficult concepts and large architectures quickly and stay on top of new and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to think outside the box and come up with creative solutions when tools don't work.

  • Bachelor's degreein computer science or related field
