This full-time position is structured for an onsite work setting, allowing for direct interaction with patients and team members within our facility. You will collaborate closely with two other skilled physical therapists and a physical therapy assistant, all committed to maintaining a standard of excellence in patient care.

• Conduct thorough assessments to efficiently identify patients' objectives and needs.
• Manage an individual caseload, providing comprehensive therapy sessions that typically last one hour per patient.
• Design and implement cost-effective treatment plans aimed at improving patients' range of motion and mobility.
• Work with patients to reduce reliance on medications, promoting non-surgical treatment options wherever possible.
• Create comprehensive care plans utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy and exercise protocols.
• Motivate patients by developing personalized fitness and wellness programs tailored to their specific needs and goals.
• Deliver high-quality care using evidence-based interventions and best practice methodologies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and holistic patient care.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress while adapting treatment plans as necessary.
• Educate patients on the importance of a healthy lifestyle, enhancing their strength, flexibility, and coordination.

The focus at River Edge Physical Therapy is on serving clients who require orthopedic care, typically including individuals recovering from injuries, surgical procedures, or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. We emphasize individual engagement with patients, and foster a comprehensive approach by actively involving them in their own treatment journey.

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
• A valid Connecticut license to practice as a Physical Therapist.
• Maintained a clean professional record with no history of disciplinary actions against the license.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and proven competence in executing rehabilitative exercise protocols.
• Proficiency in using WebPT Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software for patient documentation and care management.

• Prior experience working as a Physical Therapist in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Demonstrated abilities in treating diverse patient populations with varying needs and comorbidities.
• Experience in collaborating effectively with other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality patient care.

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to USD 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement options, and paid time off.
