UNC Health Medical Group is recruiting Outpatient Only OBGYN and GYNs for three unique full-time opportunities in Goldsboro, Lumberton, and Eden, NC. These small cities offer a lower cost of living with abundant amenities and outdoor recreation. Each position includes GYN surgeries, and access to UNC Health specialists and primary care network.

1. Goldsboro, NC: Gynecologist

Overview UNC GYN Women's Health at Goldsboro, NC is seeking an MD/DO to provide full-scope GYN women's health services in a well-established community practice of two physicians and three APPs. UNC Health Wayne offers minimally invasive and robotic-assisted gynecologic surgery. Goldsboro is a mid-sized town 1 hour east of Raleigh and less than 2 hours from the NC coast, offering a low cost of living and easy access to a large-city lifestyle.

2. Lumberton, NC: Outpatient-Only OB/GYN

Overview UNC Health Women's Services at Southeastern Health Park is recruiting an outpatient-only OB/GYN physician to see high-risk OB and complex GYN patients in the clinic. This exciting opportunity offers a high volume of GYN surgery with great work-life balance.

Position Highlights

· Collegial group: 6 physicians and 9 APPs, which includes an OBGYN Hospitalist program, with strong mentorship and teamwork

· Single, newly renovated office in Southeastern Health Park

· 4.5-day workweek, ~22 patients/day

· Dedicated/block OR time with access to da Vinci Xi robotic system

· Teaching opportunities with Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine

Practice Details

  • Single practice location: 522 S. Van Buren Road, Eden, NC 27288
  • Office hours: Mon–Thu 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.; Fri 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
  • Current team: 2 physicians, 1 APP, and strong support staff
  • Call: 1 weekend per month and 1–2 days of GYN call per week
