The Mechatronics, Mirrors and Lighting group specializes in automotive technologies that are driving the future of mobility. Job Responsibilities:

  • Directs or coordinates electronic engineering or technical personnel in fabrication and design of testing and test control apparatus and equipment, or software and systems testing.
  • Directs and coordinates electronic engineering activities concerned with development, procurement, installation, and calibration of instruments, equipment, and control devices require to test electronic devices and record test data.
  • Interfaces and confers with scientific, engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems such as products or system malfunctions, incomplete test data, data interpretation or coding issues.
  • Analyze and interprets test data and prepares technical reports for use by electronic or software engineering, and management personnel.
  • Develops or uses computer software and hardware to conduct test on electronic products and systems or software.
  • Trains and instructs floor support, test technicians and test operators on test hardware or software, as well as proper problem-solving techniques.
  • Resolves test yield problems by performing analysis of root causes, developing and coordinating corrective action measure and monitoring improvements.
  • Coordinate with third party development of in-circuit test programs and enhancements
  • Performs written analysis of fault code.
  • Coordinate with third party to develops quotes for test development and enhancements.
  • Performs analysis / Gauge R & R (Design for Test).
  • Performs mechanical analysis of test fixtures
  • Coordinates with third party the development of EOL testers.
  • Modifies and/or supports diagnostic tests at the card edge level.
  • Supports functional test hardware, computer platforms, and interfaces.
  • Co-ordinate the development of test procedures with the engineering team.
  • Preform failure/ root cause analysis for all EOL tester failures and warranty return
  • Develops and/or modifies software (Automated Optical Inspection specific) or system level plans and tests.
  • Analyze and interprets software or system level diagnostic failure (software and hardware)
  • Develops and/or supports quality comprehensive test programs.
  • Develops quotes for test development and enhancements.
  • Performs test ability analysis (Design for Test).
  • Perform other duties as required

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Completion of university degree in electronic engineering or similar.
  • 5 to less than 7 years of work-related experience.

Salary Range: $75,000 to $90,000
