Job description

CVS Health invites you to join our 2026 Finance and Internal Audit Externship experience this fall! As a Finance Extern at CVS Health, you will get an introduction to corporate finance and accounting at a Fortune 10 company.

This fall's program, intended for rising sophomores, will be a 9-session virtual program. The first session will start on September 15th, 2026, and run through October 1st, 2026.

The externship program will comprise of three virtual, 1.5hr sessions (3:00PM-4:15PM EST) Tuesday, and Wednesday, and Thursday for three weeks.

Timeline of sessions:

  • Week 1: 9/15, 9/16, 9/17
  • Week 2: 9/22, 9/23, 9/24
  • Week 3: 9/29, 9/30, 10/1

During our 9-session externship, you will develop your analytical toolkit with Excel training, build your PowerPoint presentation skills, hear from experienced CVS Health leaders, get paired with a mentor, and enhance your communication skills.

You will work with data to create a mock budgeting presentation to business leaders.

Following the program, you will have early access to apply and interview for a position in our 2028 Corporate Finance Summer Internship program. This internship program is a paid opportunity intended to take place during the summer of 2027 following a hybrid work model at the following office locations: Cumberland, RI (Headquarters); Hartford, CT (Headquarters), and Northbrook, IL

This externship program is an unpaid experience. The pay range listed below is applicable to our internship roles only.
