  • Curriculum Awareness & Adaptive Instruction: Familiar with AP Human Geography curriculum across seven units and common challenges such as applying multiple geographic models, interpreting spatial data displays, and writing thorough free-response answers with specific geographic examples. Adapts instruction using mapping activities, case study analysis, and AP-style practice to support students often taking their first AP course in developing geographic and analytical thinking skills.
  • Effective Teaching Methods: Ability to identify concepts students commonly struggle with, explain material using multiple approaches, and adapt instruction to meet individual learning needs and styles.
  • Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style.
