Job description

*PLEASE NOTE: this position is located in Charlotte, NC and will require attendance to our Southend office three days a week.*

Our Company:

LendingTree was founded in 1996 by CEO Doug Lebda to help people comparison shop and get a great deal on the single biggest transaction of their lives: their mortgage. Since then, we've facilitated over 65 million loan requests, while becoming a household name.  Today we do much more than mortgages. LendingTree is a leading online marketplace that helps consumers compare financial products and make more informed financial decisions. We connect customers with a broad network of lenders and providers across mortgages, personal loans, credit cards, insurance, and more-making it easier to find options that fit their needs. We are on a mission to help consumers save money and better their lives.

The Role:

We're looking for an Agile Project Manager to join our Engineering Operations team. You'll work closely with engineers, product managers, and stakeholders to keep delivery on track and help our teams continuously improve how they work.

This role blends agile and scrum leadership, project management, and systems thinking - balancing the structure needed for execution with the flexibility that agile work demands. You'll lead multiple teams through planning and delivery, surface insights on team performance, and help shape how we scale effectively.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead Agile ceremonies and delivery practices for assigned teams (Scrum or Kanban).
  • Partner with Product and Engineering to plan, prioritize, and track work through delivery.
  • Identify and remove impediments that slow teams down.
  • Build and share metrics that give visibility into progress, throughput, and outcomes.
  • Coach teams on Agile principles to improve flow, predictability, and collaboration.
  • Foster clear communication and alignment across Engineering and other functions.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years managing software development projects in an Agile environment.
  • Proven experience leading web-based application projects or platform initiatives.
  • Strong familiarity with Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Linear, or similar).
  • Experience facilitating Agile ceremonies and measuring team performance.

SKILLS & ATTRIBUTES

  • Excellent communicator who can distill complex ideas for diverse audiences.
  • Organized and adaptable - comfortable balancing multiple priorities.
  • Analytical thinker with a bias toward action and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborative and unflappable in fast-changing environments.

OUR CULTURE

We're a collaborative, entrepreneurial team that values curiosity, creativity, and getting things done together. Our teammates are some of the brightest, most driven people you'll meet - and we celebrate innovation, inclusion, and ownership. At LendingTree, you'll find an inclusive culture where diverse perspectives make us stronger. We believe in working hard and supporting one another - with the flexibility and trust that help you thrive both personally and professionally.
We're proud to offer generous benefits, wellness programs, and time-off policies designed to help you recharge, stay healthy, and bring your best self to work every day. And yes - we still have fun doing it (our "GSD - Get Stuff Done" award is a fan favorite!)
Come grow with us, make an impact, and be part of a company that truly cares about its people and its community.

The base pay range for this position is $90,000-120,000 however, base pay offered may vary depending on internal factors, job-related knowledge, and experience.
