Bennett Aerospace Inc., a subsidiary of Three Saints Bay, LLC, and a Federal Government Contractor industry leader, isseeking a highly motivated Software Engineer to lead the development of a responsive, web-based application that enables rapid, mobile collection of Hydrogeomorphic (HGM)-relevant field data. This role combines technical expertise in full-stack development with a mission-driven focus on ecological data collection and assessment in support of customer projects.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test a web-based platform for desktop and mobile use.

  • Implement database structures and workflows to support field data collection and storage.

  • Integrate automated quality controls to reduce error and improve data accuracy.

  • Collaborate with ecological researchers to align tool functionality with HGM assessment needs.

  • Prepare documentation, including user guides and technical reports, to support tool deployment and reproducibility.

Positions Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred).

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in web and mobile application development.

  • Strong background in database management, cross-platform development, and responsive design.

  • Demonstrated ability to produce robust, user-friendly tools that meet scientific and operational requirements.

  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a multidisciplinary research team.

Security Requirements:

  • Must be a US Citizen with the ability to obtain a US Government Clearance if required.
