Job Title Senior AI and ML Solutions Architect City, State OR Remote OR Hybrid Ashburn, VA / Onsite Clearance Level and/or eligibility Required Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination Blu Omega is seeking a Senior AI and ML Solutions Architect to support a federal program focused on enterprise cloud and AI solutions. This role operates within an onsite environment in Ashburn, VA, and is responsible for designing and implementing AI architecture strategies aligned with organizational goals. The position requires experience supporting enterprise-scale AI and cloud platforms within regulated environments.

Program Overview Program: CBP Enterprise Cloud & Integration Services (ECIS) Mission overview: Support CBP's cloud adoption, modernization, and integration strategy through implementation of cloud services, AI, and secure system design. Key Details Location: Ashburn, VA / Onsite Clearance: Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination Work Authorization: US or GC Schedule: Not specified Responsibilities * Design and develop enterprise AI, including generative AI solutions leveraging Google Gemini Enterprise or similar platforms * Develop deep understanding of AI/ML, especially for deployment in federal environments, including security, access management, and multi-agent environments * Connect AI models to enterprise data sources and source systems, ensuring data quality and security * Support both strategic planning and hands-on AI development tasks * Guide teams on framework selection, multi-agent environments, and secure AI deployment * Communicate effectively with executive stakeholders and technical teams Required Qualifications * 8+ years of experience with data science, machine learning, deep learning, or AI, including program architecture, design, and delivery * 5+ years of experience designing and implementing enterprise-scale SaaS/PaaS solutions and/or Databricks platforms * Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), particularly deploying and managing cloud-native applications * Experience architecting and implementing AI/Generative AI solutions using Google Gemini Enterprise or similar * Strong experience with enterprise access management, authentication, authorization, and identity integration * Hands-on experience designing, developing, and deploying AI Agents and agent-based workflows for enterprise or government organizations * Knowledge of integrating enterprise data sources, APIs, and connectors into AI or analytics platforms * Understanding of cloud architecture, security, and governance within regulated environments * Ability to translate business requirements into secure and scalable technical solutions * Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination Preferred Qualifications * Experience with Edge deployments and optimization (quantization, pruning, knowledge distillation) * MLOps experience for production workloads * Experience with cybersecurity teams to develop and review security controls for ATO * Strong SaaS/PaaS or DataBricks experience Compensation Salary Range: $180,000.00 - $220,000.00 annually Final compensation is based on technical skills, experience, education, certifications, and clearance.
