Job Summary and Responsibilities

As an Echo Tech/Sonographer, you will perform diagnostic echocardiography procedures to assist in diagnosing and treating cardiovascular conditions.
Every day you will operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality cardiac images and data, ensuring patient comfort and performing a range of echocardiographic studies.
To be successful, you will possess a strong understanding of cardiac anatomy, proficient technical skills, and effective communication abilities to provide exceptional diagnostic services.

  • Performs ultrasound diagnostic imaging on patients according to the specific departmental procedure protocols
  • Prepares equipment ensuring that equipment is operational, safe and functioning
  • Ensures that daily equipment and room maintenance is performed after each procedure
  • Completes all quality checks and Ensures that equipment logs are maintained
  • Completes all clinical supply inventory
  • Actively Participates with patient testing, performing routine, nonroutine, urgent, and emergent patient requests
