ECHO Incorporated is looking for a skilled Receiving Material Handler to join our team. This role is responsible for accurately receiving inbound shipments, verifying product against documentation, and ensuring materials are properly stored and recorded in the system while meeting company standards for safety, accuracy, and productivity.
1st Shift Monday-Friday 6:00am - 2:30pm Starting pay: $17.50/HR, based on experience.

  • Eligible for a $300 sign-on bonus after 90 days of employment if all qualifications are satisfied.
  • Eligible for a $300 referral bonus upon referring an employee who successfully completes 90 days of employment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Receive and unload inbound shipments, verifying items against packing slips and purchase orders.
  • Inspect incoming materials for damage, discrepancies, or quality issues and report concerns as needed.
  • Accurately enter and track received goods using RF scanners and warehouse systems.
  • Operate equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move materials to designated storage or staging areas.
  • Label, tag, and organize inventory in proper locations to support efficient warehouse operations.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe receiving area.
  • Assist with inventory counts, stock replenishment, and internal material movement as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned to support overall warehouse operations
Qualifications:
  • Experience in receiving, warehouse, or distribution environment preferred.
  • Forklift experience/certification is a plus.
  • Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy when verifying shipments and documentation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly and occasionally up to 75 lbs., stand/walk for extended periods, and frequently bend, stoop, or crouch.
  • Basic computer skills a plus.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work overtime and Saturdays during peak periods.
