Job description

We are looking for a Program Coordinator who is experienced in early childhood education who LOVES and EXCELS at what they do and is looking to take on administrative responsibilities. The Program Coordinator will work closely with the center management team to equip, encourage, and empower our team members to meet and exceed company expectations, and to provide an outstanding experience for the children and families we serve. A successful candidate must have at least 1 year of in-class experience in Early Childhood Education.

The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm. No weekends, holidays or nights!

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Supporting the management team as needed and instructed
  • Compliance checks for DHS regulations and STARS preparation
  • Assisting in the training and orientation of new and existing team members
  • Various administrative tasks including data entry and file audits
  • Updating social media accounts (blog, Facebook, Instagram)
  • Cleaning and organizing duties
  • Assisting in the classrooms and kitchen however needed

Candidates must have:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional ECE credential or college degree preferred)
  • At least one year of early childhood education in-classroom experience
  • A working knowledge of TN DHS rules and regulations, STARS preparation and assessments, and NGU policies and procedures
  • Proficiency with computer navigation (Microsoft Office, web browsers, social media sites, general computer basics)
  • Proven customer service experience (ability to handle complaints effectively and efficiently)
  • High level of organization, follow-through and accountability
  • Ability to work independently and to multitask
  • Ability to think on your feet and jump in to help wherever needed
  • Patience, initiative, flexibility, positive attitude, and a strong work ethic
  • Passion for early childhood education
