The Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) atthe University of Houston invites applications for anon-tenure-track Lecturer position at UH Katy campus. Qualifiedcandidates must hold at least one degree in Engineering, ElectricalEngineering or Computer Engineering. Ideal candidates will have aMaster's degree (for undergraduate courses) or PhD in adesign-related field (for graduate level courses), with an exemplar record of professional practice, scholarship, andteaching experience.

Candidates must demonstrate superior presentational skills, as wellas clarity in communication and openness to collaboration.Candidates with a strong commitment to innovative teachingpractices, critical practice, theoretical scholarship, as well asvarious specializations are encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will join a collegialgroup of research-oriented faculty working in a highlycollaborative environment.

This is a 12-month appointment, it may be renewable contingent onfunding, performance, and programmatic need. The anticipated startdate is September 1, 2026.

Employees are expected to have a home address in the state ofTexas for the duration of their appointments.
