Our team is dedicated to supporting individuals through evidence-based treatment in a collaborative, patient-centered environment.Position Overview
NANA Healthcare is seeking a General Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join our expanding team in Dunwoody, GA. This provider will work with a diverse patient population across the lifespan, with a strong focus on adult mental health, substance use disorders, co-occurring conditions, inpatient management, and outpatient awareness.
Experience in inpatient services is highly preferred, as we continue to expand specialized programming in this area.Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments
  • Diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health disorders
  • Develop and manage individualized treatment plans
  • Prescribe and monitor psychotropic medications
  • Manage inpatient psychiatric care and coordinate transitions across care settings
  • Maintain awareness of outpatient needs and continuity of care
  • Supervise nurse practitioners and provide clinical guidance as needed
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (therapists, dietitians, nursing staff, etc.)
  • Provide care across varying levels of acuity (inpatient, PHP, IOP, or outpatient as applicable)
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to program development
Qualifications
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
  • Active or eligible for Georgia medical license
  • Experience treating adult populations and substance use disorders required
  • Experience with eating disorders strongly preferred
  • Experience in inpatient management and outpatient awareness a plus
  • Ability to work with adolescents and/or broader age ranges is a plus
Compensation & Schedule
  • Salary: $300k+
    (Negotiable based on experience and qualifications)
