Job description

Overview

JOB SPECIFICS:
  • Highly collaborative, multidisciplinary Behavioral Health Eating Disorders team is seeking a BC/BE Family Medicine, Sports Medicine, Med-Peds, or Internal Medicine physician to join their practice.
  • This part-time physician role will support the practice by focusing on the medical needs associated with patients undergoing treatment and recovery through our PHP and IOP eating disorders program.
  • Mix of responsibilities include 4-5 hours/week of direct patient care, plus on-call consulting during normal business hours, lab review, and administrative tasks.
  • Work within a seasoned, team-oriented group of Psychiatrists, Behavioral Health Therapists, Nurses, and Dieticians with long-standing expertise in the program.
  • Experience in eating disorders, adolescent medicine, or athlete-related conditions is preferred, but not essential, with physicians at any career stage welcome to apply.

    • Range shown should be used as an estimate and can be impacted by many factors including but not limited to the critical need of the position, overall experience and qualifications, community need, and other considerations. Qualifications

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Physician Licensed to practice medicine in current state.
  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the State of Illinois to prescribe narcotics, if applicable.
  • Board certified or board eligible in the appropriate specialty(ies). Obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.
  • Must be eligible as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs.
  • Physician shall meet all qualifications to participate in OSF's programs for professional malpractice and other liability coverage.
