This is a hands-on leadership position for an experienced clinician who understands the complexities of treating eating disorders and can effectively lead a multidisciplinary treatment team.

Direct eating disorder treatment experience is REQUIRED. Candidates without eating disorder experience will not be considered.

The Role

The Clinical Director will be responsible for the overall quality and effectiveness of clinical care, providing leadership to the treatment team while ensuring programming remains clinically sound, compliant, and aligned with evidence-based eating disorder treatment.

This individual will work closely with clinical, medical, nutritional, and operational leadership to create an integrated treatment environment and maintain exceptional standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a multidisciplinary clinical team

  • Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and performance management

  • Oversee treatment planning and ensure individualized, clinically appropriate care

  • Maintain the quality and consistency of therapeutic programming

  • Lead clinical case consultation and treatment team discussions

  • Partner closely with medical, nursing, dietary, and operational teams

  • Ensure clinical documentation meets regulatory, payer, and accreditation expectations

  • Monitor caseloads, clinical performance, and quality-of-care indicators

  • Provide guidance on complex cases, escalations, and clinical risk

  • Support staff education and continued development in evidence-based eating disorder treatment

  • Identify opportunities to strengthen programming, clinical outcomes, and the overall patient experience

  • Active, unrestricted Texas clinical license as an LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or Psychologist

  • Eating disorder treatment experience REQUIRED

  • Previous clinical leadership or supervisory experience REQUIRED

  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment approaches for eating disorders

  • Experience working within multidisciplinary behavioral healthcare teams
