This role is uniquely positioned to allow you to work from the comfort of your own home while engaging with clients through virtual platforms. Our flexible work hours, Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, promote work-life balance while ensuring comprehensive support for our patients.

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients to identify symptoms related to eating disorders and any co-occurring mental health issues, utilizing standardized evaluation tools.
• Develop personalized, evidence-informed treatment plans based on assessment outcomes, collaborating closely with clients to establish achievable recovery goals.
• Deliver therapeutic services using proven modalities such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions that help clients explore and transform distorted beliefs surrounding body image, food, and self-worth.
• Support clients in building healthy coping mechanisms, enhancing emotional regulation, and creating strategies to challenge disordered eating behaviors.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure a holistic approach to treatment, addressing both psychological and physical needs.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, fostering an understanding of eating disorders and reinforcing a supportive environment conducive to recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation to reflect client progress, treatment plans, and therapy sessions, adhering to legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, team meetings, and case discussions to enhance clinical skills in treating eating disorders.

You will primarily work with clients suffering from eating disorders, which often co-occur with other mental health conditions. This population requires a nuanced understanding of the psychological and emotional factors influencing eating behaviors. Your role is to empower clients with the necessary tools and support to navigate their challenges and facilitate sustainable recovery.

• A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.
• A valid and current license as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.
• Strong expertise in evidence-based interventions targeted for eating disorders, specifically CBT, DBT, and ACT.
• A comprehensive understanding of the psychological complexities associated with eating disorders and any co-occurring conditions.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building trust and rapport with clients.

• A minimum of two years of experience working in mental health, specifically with clients dealing with eating disorders.
• Proven track record of effectively implementing therapeutic modalities that promote client success.
• Experience coordinating care with other healthcare professionals to address the multi-dimensional needs of clients.
