Gotham Enterprises Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our collaborative outpatient team, focusing on the treatment of eating disorders. As a vital member of our clinical staff, you will be responsible for guiding clients through their mental health recovery journey, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to promote lasting change and improved well-being.

This full-time position offers a unique remote work setting, allowing you to provide therapy from the comfort of your home while effectively collaborating with our team. Operating during regular business hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM, you will engage in a structured yet flexible work schedule that prioritizes work-life balance while meeting our clients' needs.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' eating disorder symptoms and co-occurring mental health conditions, producing detailed reports that inform personalized treatment strategies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, collaborating closely with clients to set realistic, attainable recovery goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) tailored specifically for eating disorders.
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions focusing on challenging clients' distorted beliefs about body image, food, and self-worth, creating a safe space for open dialogue and exploration.
• Help clients cultivate healthy coping mechanisms and emotional regulation skills, empowering them to resist disordered eating behaviors.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive care plans that address clients' psychological, physical, and social needs.
• Educate clients and their families about eating disorders, providing psychoeducation that fosters understanding and encourages a supportive environment at home.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and session notes, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards in clinical practice.
• Participate in regular team meetings and professional development opportunities, staying updated on the latest research and best practices in the field of eating disorder treatment.

Your primary focus will be on clients struggling with a spectrum of eating disorders. In doing so, you will also address co-occurring mental health issues, offering a comprehensive approach to treatment that promotes both psychological and emotional healing. Our clients are diverse, representing a wide array of backgrounds, and your role will be pivotal in helping them achieve recovery, improved self-esteem, and healthier relationships with food.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LMHC in the state of New York.
• Demonstrated expertise in employing evidence-based therapies particularly effective for treating eating disorders, such as CBT, DBT, and ACT.
• A deep understanding of the complexities surrounding eating disorders and their co-occurring conditions, combined with excellent communication skills that enable rapport and trust-building with clients.

While a minimum of two years of direct experience in mental health counseling is required, candidates who have specialized experience in the treatment of eating disorders will be highly regarded. Familiarity with remote therapy tools and telehealth practices would also be advantageous, given the virtual nature of this position.

• Annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and specialized skills.
