Job Requirements
  • Active Oklahoma RN license or Compact RN license required at time of submission
  • At least 1 year of recent Emergency Room nursing experience required; 2 years preferred
  • Previous travel nurse experience preferred
  • ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and PALS required in hand at time of submission
  • Experience with the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system required
  • Ability to care for diverse patient populations across all age groups
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a high-acuity environment
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality emergency nursing care to patients ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics
  • Perform rapid assessments, triage, and prioritization of patients in a fast-paced ER environment
  • Administer medications, start and maintain IVs, and support critical interventions as needed
  • Monitor and respond to cardiac, respiratory, neurological, and trauma-related emergencies
  • Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapy, radiology, pharmacy, and other interdisciplinary team members
  • Document accurately and efficiently in Epic while maintaining patient safety and quality of care
  • Support emergency treatments including stroke, sepsis, chest pain, trauma, behavioral health, and other urgent presentations
  • Adapt to floating within scope as needed based on facility needs
