Description
The Pharmacy Technician receives and fills prescription requests for patients under the supervision of a pharmacist and maintains patient profiles.
Requirements
  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • PTCB National Certification Education required.
  • Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting preferred.
  • Must be professional, self-motivated and have strong attention to detail, communication, teamwork, customer service and computer skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings and weekends.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and employees
  • Ability to type and operate a Microsoft Windows based computer.
  • Must complete and maintain all recertification requirements for continued licensure and/or certification, and retain updated copies as applicable.
  • Must demonstrate excellent internal and external customer service skills.
  • Certification as an Interpreter is preferred and ability to provide bilingual patient care is a plus.
