Job description

UT Health East Physicians, CVC Clinic is hiring a full-time Nurse Practitioner (or physician assistant) to join our cardiology team at UT Health Three Lakes.

About the Position: 

  • 2-5 years of cardiology experience required
  • Schedule: Monday - Thursday 8-5, Friday 8-12
  • 16-25 patients per day
  • Outpatient
  • Located at our Three Lakes Clinic

Duties:

  • Evaluate new and established patients with cardiac conditions.
  • Perform comprehensive history and physical exams.
  • Diagnose and manage common cardiovascular diseases,
  • Order, interpret, and discuss diagnostic tests
  • Coordinate care with cardiologists, primary care providers, electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, and cardiac surgeon
  • Provide risk factor modification and preventive cardiology counseling
