About the Company
The company is a privately held heavy civil contractor with more than three decades of success across the Mountain West. The company has earned a strong reputation for delivering complex infrastructure projects with precision, operational discipline, and significant self-perform capability.
Specializing in large-scale earthwork, aggregates production, asphalt paving, and transportation infrastructure, the organization serves public agencies and private clients on highways, roadways, bridges, and site development projects. • Establish and maintain survey control points, benchmarks, and project coordinate systems
  • Operate GPS (RTK), robotic total stations, data collectors, and related survey equipment
  • Interpret civil plans, specifications, and CAD files to translate design into accurate field layout
  • Verify grades, elevations, alignments, and slopes to ensure work is built within design tolerances
  • Conduct topographic surveys, boundary verification (as needed), and existing condition documentation
  • Provide quantity tracking support and assist with progress measurements
  • Prepare and maintain as-built drawings and survey documentation
  • Coordinate daily with project managers, superintendents, and field crews to support production and schedule
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company quality control procedures

This role is ideal for a licensed professional who enjoys working in the field, supporting operations, and directly contributing to successful project execution.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Survey Engineering, or related field

  • Performance-based bonus opportunities
  • Company truck allowance
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
