Job description

Duran Excavating is seeking experienced Heavy Equipment Operators proficient in operating excavators, loaders, and dozers. Candidates must have a solid background in waterline, sewer, storm utility, and earthwork operations. The ideal candidate will have 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in heavy equipment operation within the construction industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment including excavators, loaders, and dozers with precision and safety.
  • Perform various tasks related to waterline, sewer, storm utility, and earthwork projects.
  • Follow project plans, blueprints, and instructions to ensure accurate and efficient work.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure proper functionality.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to achieve project goals and deadlines.

Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years of heavy equipment operating experience in construction, with proficiency in loader, dozer, excavator, and grader operation.
  • Proven experience in waterline, sewer, storm utility, and earthwork projects.
  • Valid driver's license
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments.
