Job Description Allied Universal® is hiring Cleared Security Officers -Department of Defense (DOD) Clearance Required. * Positions Are: Full Time * Work Days Available: Morning/Afternoons, Evenings and Overnights * Workdays Available: Candidates should be flexible Monday - Sunday * Pay Rate: $23.26 At Allied Universal, a Cleared Security Officer is entrusted with sensitive information and given the responsibility to protect classified information and personnel. As a Cleared Security Officer, you'll receive specialized training in site-specific security protocols associated with your clearance level, allowing for skill development and professional growth in the security field. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism * Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information * Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points * Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel * Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms * Act as a first responder in emergency situations QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE): * Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience * Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance (national security eligibility determinations take into account a person's stability, trustworthiness, reliability, discretion, character, honesty, and judgment) * Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment * Must possess one or more of the following: * Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site * Prior military experience * Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills * Exceptional customer service skills * Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE): * Prior law enforcement or armed security experience * Associate's degree or higher In Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field BENEFITS: * Health insurance and 401k plans for full-time positions * Schedules that fit with your personal life goals * Ongoing paid training programs and career growth opportunities * Employee discounts through our perks program to your favorite restaurants, entertainment venues and much more...
