Job description

Job Summary
Under the direction of an Early Learning Educator or designee, the Early Learning Apprentice receives instruction and training in a live classroom environment in order to acquire the necessary skills to safely and effectively assist in planning, organizing, and implementing approved developmentally appropriate curriculum for the development of preschool aged children enrolled in the District's Early Learning Programs.
The Buena Park School District Early Learning Apprentice Program, for which these apprentice positions are supporting, is designed to train and prepare apprentices with the necessary skills to develop and grow into competitive candidates for positions as Early Learning Instructional Assistants and Early Learning Educators should they also attain the required supplemental education and permitting.

  • Copy of Transcript (Proof of attaining at least 6 units of Early Childhood Education or Child Development coursework from an accredited college)
