Job Description: Join Eagle Vision One during an exciting period of growth with an expanding Eagle office and new Star location! We're seeking a reliable, experienced optician to join our dedicated team, focused on providing a legendary customer experience. We value communication, teamwork, and creating a welcoming environment for our team members and patients. If you're career-driven and want to grow with a fast-moving private practice here in the Treasure Valley, we'd love to meet you.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing Legendary customer service by assisting patients in selecting frames that complement their face shape, skin tone, and personal style.
  • Take precise measurements to ensure accurate fit and optimal vision correction.
  • Assist with fitting glasses and lenses, ensuring maximum comfort.
  • Educate patients on lens options, coatings, and treatments available.
  • Dispensing, adjusting, and repairing eyewear as needed.
  • Troubleshooting
  • Managing patient records ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Manage inventory effectively.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year experience as an Optician
  • ABO preferred but not required.
  • Proficiency in optical equipment usage and lens fitting techniques.
  • Experience with reading and billing insurance allowances, pricing frames and lenses.
  • Strong knowledge of eyewear trends, lens types, and frame styles.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and communicate effectively with patients, team members, and doctors.
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and electronic health records (EHRs).
  • Comfortability with sales processes.
  • Must be able to work 40 hours per week.
  • Punctuality and reliability are required.
