Comprising more than 130 personnel, the Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) delivers expertise across program and project management, acquisition and contracting, systems and digital engineering, software development, test and evaluation, sustainment and life-cycle management, cybersecurity, international/Foreign Military Sales, strategic communications, and IT services. These capabilities support more than 100 Above Water Sensor, Undersea, and Combat System programs and projects within the Navy's Portfolio Acquisition Executive for Mission Systems, Maritime and Munitions, as well as clients at Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center, Crane Division, and the Office of Naval Research.
Responsibilities
We are seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) Electromagnetic & Sensor Systems Department (B).
You will serve as a highly qualified Radio Frequency (RF) Subject Matter Expert (SME) providing direct support to the test, evaluation & integration (TE&I) efforts of Navy sensor systems in the areas of electromagnetic environment effects (E3), electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI) in support of EMC/E3 certifications. We are seeking a part-time candidate for this position.
Candidate must have the ability to work from NSWC Dahlgren with some travel expected (up to 15%).
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (with emphasis on RF/EMI/EMC)
  • 15+ years of experience in theoretical or practical aspects of Navy RF sensors and systems in the areas of EMI/EMC/E3
  • Ability to obtain a Secret DoD clearance

Pay Range Information

Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Virginia, Pay Transparency Salary range: USD $80.00/Hr. - USD $92.00/Hr.
