SUMMARY 
The Director of E-Commerce is responsible for shaping and executing our e-commerce strategy, driving revenue growth, enhancing brand visibility, and ensuring an exceptional online shopping experience for our customers. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • E-Commerce Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with company goals including ship from store and buy online pick-up in-store. 
  • Operations: Manage fulfillment, shipping and logistics for online orders. 
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and foster a cross-functional team, including web developer, digital marketer, and customer service representative. 
  • Online Merchandising: Oversee product listings, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns for optimized sales and margins. 
  • Website Optimization: Continuously improve user experience, website functionality, and mobile responsiveness to boost satisfaction and conversion rates. 
  • Digital Marketing: Collaborate with the marketing and loyalty teams to drive digital marketing efforts, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, and social media advertising. 
  • Analytics and Reporting: Lead the maintenance of the e-commerce section of the Marketing scorecard and key performance indicators. Leverage data and analytics to drive informed decisions, monitor performance, and identify areas for enhancement. 
  • Vendor and Partner Management: Collaborate with franchisees, third-party vendors and partners to expand product offerings and enhance the e-commerce ecosystem for a positive guest experience. 
  • Customer Experience: Elevate the customer journey through excellent service, feedback mechanisms, and prompt issue resolution. 
  • Budget Management: Co-develop and oversee the e-commerce budget, ensuring resource allocation efficiency and strong ROI. 
  • Compliance: Ensure adherence to e-commerce regulations, data privacy laws, and industry best practices. 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, IT, marketing, or a related field. 
  • Minimum 7 years of e-commerce leadership experience. 
  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth in an e-commerce environment. 
  • Strong grasp of digital marketing strategies and tactics. 
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficiency in e-commerce platforms (e.g. Shopify, Shipstation) and related technologies. 
  • Experience with peripheral DTC enabling technologies required.
  • Experience integrating third-party loyalty/rewards systems. 
  • Experience working in multi-unit and franchise environments.
  • Effective team management and leadership abilities. 
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
