Job description

$20โ€“$25 per hour | Full-Time | On-Site | Fayetteville, AR

We are looking for a smart, analytical, and adaptable E-Commerce Operations Specialist to work closely with the owner of a growing e-commerce and manufacturing company.

This is an intentionally broad role for someone who wants to learn how an e-commerce business actually operates. You will gain hands-on experience across Amazon, digital advertising, analytics, SEO, product listings, creative content, reporting, and business operations.

A major purpose of this position is to help monitor the business, identify problems and opportunities, investigate what is happening, and complete projects that would otherwise require the owner's time.

You do not need to already be an expert in Amazon, advertising, or e-commerce. We are more interested in finding someone who is analytical, curious, organized, comfortable with technology, and capable of learning quickly.

Growth Opportunity

This role is designed to provide broad exposure to the business during your first 6โ€“12 months.

As you develop experience and demonstrate your strengths, there may be an opportunity to move into a more specialized position with increased responsibility and compensation.

Potential areas of specialization could include:

  • Amazon advertising and marketplace growth
  • Business analytics and reporting
  • E-commerce management
  • SEO and listing optimization
  • Creative and content strategy
  • Operations and process improvement
  • Automation and systems

The specific path will depend on your performance, interests, abilities, and the needs of the business.

What You'll Work On

Your responsibilities may include:

  • Reviewing Amazon sales and advertising performance
  • Helping manage and optimize Amazon PPC campaigns
  • Identifying campaigns, products, keywords, or metrics that need attention
  • Monitoring sales, conversion rates, advertising costs, inventory, and profitability
  • Creating and maintaining recurring reports and dashboards
  • Investigating unexpected changes in business performance
  • Improving Amazon and other marketplace product listings
  • Performing keyword research and SEO analysis
  • Helping improve product titles, descriptions, images, video, and A+ Content
  • Researching competitors and marketplace opportunities
  • Assisting with new product launches and existing product optimization
  • Coordinating projects with designers, photographers, freelancers, vendors, and other team members
  • Helping improve internal processes and documentation
  • Working with Amazon, Etsy, Shopify, Walmart, eBay, and other e-commerce platforms
  • Using Excel, spreadsheets, software, and AI tools to improve efficiency
  • Researching problems and presenting relevant information so decisions can be made quickly
  • Assisting with production or fulfillment during occasional busy periods
  • Taking on a variety of business projects based on current priorities
What We're Looking For

You may be a strong fit if you:

  • Are analytical and enjoy working with numbers and data
  • Are highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Notice when something does not look right and want to understand why
  • Learn new software and systems quickly
  • Are comfortable working with spreadsheets
  • Can research and investigate problems independently
  • Communicate clearly and can summarize what you find
  • Are comfortable managing several different types of projects
  • Enjoy variety rather than doing exactly the same task every day
  • Are willing to jump in and help where needed
  • Are interested in e-commerce, Amazon, digital marketing, analytics, or business operations

A college degree is not required.

We care more about your ability to learn, solve problems, and take initiative than about a specific educational background.

Helpful Experience

Experience in any of the following is helpful, but not required:

  • Amazon Seller Central
  • Amazon PPC or digital advertising
  • E-commerce marketplace management
  • Excel or Google Sheets
  • Business reporting or data analysis
  • SEO or keyword research
  • Product listing optimization
  • Shopify, Etsy, Walmart Marketplace, or eBay
  • Graphic design or creative project coordination
  • Inventory or fulfillment operations
  • Manufacturing or production
  • AI tools and automation

We do not expect one candidate to have experience in all of these areas.

What Success Looks Like

As you learn the business, you should become increasingly capable of identifying what deserves attention without waiting for someone to point it out.

For example, you might identify:

  • A product whose sales have unexpectedly declined
  • An advertising campaign whose costs are increasing
  • A listing whose conversion rate has changed
  • An inventory issue that could lead to a stockout
  • A marketplace fee that appears incorrect
  • A competitor making a significant change
  • A process that is consuming unnecessary time
  • An opportunity to improve a product or listing

You would investigate the issue, gather the relevant information, handle what you can, and bring important findings to the owner's attention.

The goal is for you to become a trusted source of information and execution within the business.

Schedule
  • Full-time
  • Monday through Friday
  • Normal business hours
  • On-site in Fayetteville, Arkansas
Compensation

$20โ€“$25 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Benefits
  • Medical insurance
  • Dental insurance
  • Vision insurance
  • Paid time off
  • 401(k)
About Us

We are an e-commerce and manufacturing company that creates and sells personalized and non-personalized products online.

We sell through Amazon and other major online marketplaces and also manufacture and fulfill many of our own products.

Because we handle both the e-commerce and operational sides of the business, this position provides exposure to the entire process-from advertising and product listings to analytics, inventory, production, and fulfillment.

If you enjoy solving problems, learning new things, working with data, and seeing the direct impact of your work, this role offers an opportunity to develop a broad business skill set and potentially grow into a more specialized career path.
