Job description

Fusion HCR is Hiring!

Position: Learning Solutions Designer
Location: Las Vegas, NV (Onsite)
Type: Contract (3 Months)
Industry: Property Management / Human Resources

Position Overview
Fusion HCR is seeking a Learning Solutions Designer to produce high-quality, performance-driven learning content across multiple modalities for a client in the property management industry. This role designs and develops learner-centered solutions that simplify complex processes into clear, actionable experiences, while adhering to governance and brand standards. Video production and video-based learner engagement are the top priority for this role — the ideal candidate is skilled at creating polished, engaging video content, not just curriculum design. This individual partners closely with senior team members, subject matter experts (SMEs), and cross-functional stakeholders to deliver scalable, polished, and culture-embedded learning assets that reinforce organizational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Video Production & Learner Engagement

  • Create engaging video-based learning content, with strong understanding of how to capture and hold learner attention through video
  • Build intros, outros, and video overlays as part of polished, professional video content
  • Produce and edit screen recordings, incorporating stock video assets where appropriate
  • Perform video editing and transitions to create clean, modern, and engaging final products aligned with brand standards

Learning Content Design & Development

  • Design and develop learning content across multiple modalities (e.g., eLearning, ILT, microlearning, blended, simulations)
  • Produce scripts, storyboards, and learning assets aligned with templates, brand, accessibility, and governance standards
  • Update and refresh existing content to reflect process or system changes

Content Production & Tools

  • Build interactive modules, videos, graphics, training materials, and screenshots using authoring, media, and AI-enabled tools — primarily Canva, along with tools like Articulate 360, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Camtasia
  • Ensure outputs are polished, inclusive, and performance-driven, reflecting a clean, modern, and simple brand aesthetic

Collaboration & Review

  • Collaborate with SMEs, senior team members, and cross-functional stakeholders to capture requirements, ensure accuracy, and refine learning solutions
  • Incorporate feedback and iterate to meet project needs
  • Conduct self-reviews and participate in peer reviews to ensure accuracy, compliance, and effectiveness

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Adult Learning, Communications, or a related field; or equivalent hands-on experience
  • Minimum 3 years of recent, hands-on instructional design lifecycle experience in a corporate setting
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience designing and developing learning solutions across multiple modalities (e.g., eLearning, ILT, microlearning, blended)
  • Strong, demonstrable video production and editing experience — this is the most critical skill for this role
  • Experience creating and editing videos using screen-capture and editing tools (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe Premiere), including intros, outros, and overlays
  • Strong proficiency with authoring and design tools; understanding of LMS publishing basics (SCORM/xAPI)
  • Applied knowledge of adult learning theory, instructional design models (ADDIE, SAM), and evaluation basics

Preferred Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with Canva specifically (training available for strong candidates with equivalent design/editing software experience)
  • Experience preparing instructor-led training (ILT) program and support materials (facilitator/participant guides, job aids)
  • Professional certifications (e.g., ATD, CPTD, Kirkpatrick, CPTM)
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards (e.g., Section 508/WCAG) and ability to design inclusive content
  • Familiarity with Agile or iterative development workflows and collaboration tools (e.g., Miro, Smartsheet, Jira)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) verbal and written

Why Join?
This is an opportunity to create meaningful, high-impact video-driven learning experiences for a large property management organization, with room to apply modern instructional design and video production tools in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.
