Position Summary

The Operator II is responsible for operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment, ensuring product quality, maintaining production efficiency, and following all safety and operational procedures. This role requires intermediate-level machine operation skills, troubleshooting abilities, and teamwork in a production environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production/manufacturing equipment.
  • Perform equipment setup, adjustments, and minor troubleshooting.
  • Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Follow work instructions, SOPs, and safety regulations.
  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.
  • Assist with preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
  • Identify process issues and communicate them to supervisors or maintenance teams.
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Train or assist new operators when needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.


Qualifications

Education

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Experience
