Position Overview

Vitalize Metal and Wellness Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dynamic team. Work Environment

This remote position offers an exceptional work-life balance. You will primarily work from home while engaging regularly with our school-based facilities to ensure that each child receives personalized attention for their mental health needs. Your typical work schedule will be from 9 AM to 6 PM, Monday through Friday, without the demands of evening or weekend responsibilities. This structured schedule allows you to focus on your clients during business hours, fostering a more effective therapeutic relationship.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients' mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific situations.
• Provide psychotherapy, counseling, and crisis intervention services while maintaining a manageable caseload of clients with diverse mental health disorders.
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers and other team members within the multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive behavioral health services.
• Maintain and adhere to Mental Health policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements in the provision of care.
• Evaluate new clients by conducting timely intake sessions and developing an accurate understanding of their mental health conditions.
• Offer referrals to specialized services, such as medication-assisted treatment (MAT), for clients requiring additional support.
• Screen for prescription drug abuse, illicit drug use, and alcohol use to provide relevant referrals and counseling resources for those in need.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on children and adolescents within the school system, providing essential support to help them navigate their mental health challenges. You will engage with a culturally diverse group of clients, fostering inclusive and understanding therapeutic relationships. Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Counseling or Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• Demonstrated proficiency in clinical skills including crisis intervention, assessments, and treatment planning.
• Strong communication abilities, with proficient oral and written presentation skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative approach to problem-solving.
• Technologically adept, with experience in processing electronic patient records and familiarity with relevant software.
• Cultural competency in working effectively with a diverse clientele.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in a school setting or with pediatric populations.
• Understanding of current trends in behavioral healthcare at local, state, and federal levels.
• Evidence of mature judgment and the ability to provide effective crisis management.
• Experience with various therapeutic modalities and techniques.
