As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Security Presence in SACRAMENTO, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic logistics and distribution location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.40 / Hour

What You'll Do:

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Respond to incidents, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking areas, facility entrances, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor vehicle, visitor, and employee access in accordance with site requirements, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security license is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
